How do you think that the plot of the Logan series would have changed if Laura Logan was still alive in the novels? Do you think that the story still could have worked?

I think it might have somewhat. I can see her wanting to make Melody at home the way Sarah said she would have. She probably would have even been more supportive of Melody then the others had been in the beginning. I just don't know about the Cary and Melody relationship though.

I really don't know if Cary and Melody would have had the same kind of relationship. I also think that Melody would have been accepted more into the family, and would have had an easier time getting settled in. I like that it gave the story an edge when Laura died though.
