Has anybody else seen the movie for Rain?

I really did not like how forced and quick the ending came, and how it was not true to the book in most respects. I don't see what was wrong with the original story, but that really bothered me.

I would say that Flowers in the Attic is my favorite. Nothing can beat the original, even though it was absolutely heartbreaking.

In your opinion, what is the worst series of all VC Andrew's works?

I hated the Broken Wings series. I thought it was really pointless, and did not have a good plot at all.

I would choose the Landry series, because it's the one that I can re-read over and over again. Flowers in the Attic is a close second though.

My nickname is Panic, and I'm a huge VC Andrews fan. I've been reading Andrew's books since I was in the 5th grade. The first book I ever read was Dawn, and ever since, I've been a huge fan.

At what point do you feel that the books began to go downhill? I believe that the last purely amazing series was the Logan series. After that, everything seemed to go downhill.

The Landry Movie

The movie for the Landry series is allegedly going to be filming soon. It's also supposedly going to be called "The Landry", and will most likely be airing on Lifetime. I really hope that they cast the movie right, otherwise this could be a huge failure. I am excited to see it, nevertheless.

A lot of the characters are mature, and yet it's like I am reading about a little kid. A lot of the main characters use the term 'mommy and daddy' to refer to their parents when talking about them. I don't know too many teens who still call their parents mommy and daddy.

The twins in Hidden Jewel irritated me. They didn't seem like twelve year old boys at all. They were calling their parents mommy and daddy and I know that most twelve year old boys would be embarrassed to call their parents ...

I thought Dawn was extremely naive, especially in her relationship with Michael Sutton (I think that's his name), and another character I found to be extremely naive was Heaven.

Who are your favorite and least favorite characters in the Doll series?

Cathy is of course my favorite character. I think of her as being very beautiful, and I love the fact that she is a dancer. She does seem too vengeful at times though.

My least favorite character is Julian. I couldn't stand any part of the book that he was in, though I loved Jory.

Ghost Writer

One question that I hear a lot is about when the ghost writer took over. The lines are a bit blurry, I'm not sure if VCA started novels and didn't finish them, left outlines, or if the ghost writer is just writing in her style, but I do know that the Dollanganger series is the only one that she completed. Heaven might have been written by her as well, but I believe that's it.

What did you find to be the most infuriating situation for any of the main characters? I was extremely infuriated when Dawn was sent to live at The Meadows for her pregnancy, and for the baby being taken away from her like that.

Who had the most unfortunate circumstances in the books?

I think that the most unfortunate character was Leigh, from the Casteel series, however Ruby is a close second, followed by Audrina. She was raped by somebody she should have been able to trust, and then ran away to find Luke, only to die so soon afterwards.
